    GIB-Lite success in shallow water and harsh conditions

    Fugro TopNav has used the GIB-Lite system in Flamanville (France - English Channel) to accurately position a steamer in very shallow water. Two GIB-Lite pingers were attached to the steamer. An air gun was operating nearby. The environmental conditions were very severe: 7 knots current, wave height over 1.5 m.
