GIB-USC: new GPS time server for AUVs ACSA has developed a new product: GIB-USC board. This is a GPS time server board (LAN and serial) as well as a trigger for payloads synchronization. This board has a ultra-stable clock synchronized on GPS time.
IFREMER has ordered to ACSA this new GIB-USC board that will be integrated in the AUV delivered by ISE & CYBERNETIX.
This AUV will carry a GIB pinger for tracking, supervision and relocation purposes.
