GIB-FT Torpedo tracking commissioned GIB-FT Portable Torpedo tracking system was successfully tested at sea with a fast vehicle that was tracked in real-time at a speed over 50 knots.
Factory Acceptance Tests of GIB-FT system for German Navy were successfully carried on within planed time frame. The customer was very impressed and mentioned:
"The technical realization of the contract by ORCA and their partner ACSA has been carried out very professionally.
Both companies were always ready to accept demands for technical modification even after the contract had been signed.
Preparation and execution of the Factory Acceptance Test and the Training were outstanding".
The successful Sea Acceptance tests have driven to the commissioning of the GIB-FT system by the end of February 2002.
GIB-FT system was presented during an open day in our partner ORCA's facilities. More than 60 persons from different organisations were attempting this presentation.
