GIB-Plus system fully commissioned - offering extended performances. GIB-Plus system, ACSA latest development in portable tracking systems, has been successfully commissioned by ECA. The system offers an extended 2 x 2 Nautical miles coverage area using a 25 kHz tracking pinger. Positioning accuracy in longitude and latitude is metric. Due to pinger's integrated depth telemetry channel, depth accuracy over the whole area is submetric.
This challenging development, part of French DGA Mine hunting AUV Research Program (PEA), opens new frontiers for a wide range of applications.
ACSA is a company specialized in advanced underwater applications of GPS and robotics.
