New development contract for ACSA Underwater GPS SeaExplorer supervised oceanographic Glider ACSA Underwater GPS has been notified of an important research and development contract, financed by French Ministry of Industry.
This program is a collaboration between industry, scientific labs and universities. It aims at developing a supervised multi-sensors glider for oceanographic applications.
A merged acoustic communication-positioning system will be one of the key features of this new glider.
ACSA’s software "FleetManager" will be used for Glider mission planing and supervision. This software provides advanced display tools for mission completion assessment.
