Surface Synthetic Long Base Line : Tracking mode

The one-buoy repositioning concept is based on the hybridization of a dead reckoning model with underwater range measurements to a beacon, for which absolute coordinates are known. This technique is covered by the US patent 5,579,285.

The result is a very low cost, accurate navigation system that can be used by a group of small vehicles conducting military missions in a hostile environment.

This module is basically a software module integrated into AQUATIC tracking & display software.

Application :
- Vehicle dead reckoning navigator improvement
- Vehicle supervision

Key features :
- Only One buoy required
