GIB-MSC Miniature Ultra Stable Clock

The GIB-MSC is a miniature ultra stable clock designed to trigger an acoustic equipment. This trigger is synchronized on GPS PPS. This board can be mounted inside an acoustic equipment (pinger, sonar…) pressure housing or inside an AUV.

Application :
The applications of the GIB-MSC are numerous. In AUVs, it can be used to deliver GPS Time (which is maintained even when the vehicle dives), while controlling specific equipment using the trigger output. The clock is so accurate that it can also be used to trigger acoustic positioning equipment such as ACSA's GIB portable tracking system.

Key features :
- Miniature Ultra stable clock
- Pulses triggering
- Serial link to user : Time NMEA data frame
- External trigger input
- Synchronization on GPS time : 10-6 sec (drift max: 2.10-8)
- Generation of ultra stable clock signals synchronized on GPS time, even when GPS satellites are lost
