GIB-Net system is composed of a set of at least 4 synchronous beacons deployed over the seabed in a square configuration. Those beacons transmit every second acoustic TSSC signals (patented technology) that allow to identify the beacon and to avoid the ambiguity in the distance measurement.
An unlimited number of acoustic receivers can be deployed in the volume above the beacons, and calculate their positions, every second, knowing the position of the beacons.
